It even comes with a sleek storage case with a magnetic clip allowing for easy opening and closing. Only weighing in at 5.5 ounces and being in a compact size, it is very easy to store in any compartment in your bag, and does not make walking the course any more difficult. At only a fraction of the price compared to many different competitors, it is a very good pick up. One of the biggest pros for the ScoreBand Pulse it the price. It is a great tool for getting the precise distance to the flag to help you choose the right club. It has been dropped more times than I can count, tossed from person to person, and even left on the golf course overnight, but it still works as if it is brand new. I have been using it for the past two golf seasons and it is still going strong today. The ScoreBand Pulse is an excellent product for any golf enthusiast. There are lower costs alternatives now, but I have no idea how well they work. I have found that the best way to deal with that is to lock your elbow against your chest and brace your arm with your other hand. At 6x magnification, and held against the eye, the image is not stable and it is difficult to keep it on the pin. One really useful feature I have not yet found on this or any other rangefinder is image stabilization, something similar to those found on cameras.

At times, I will depress the activation key and catch the numerals as they flip between the distances of the flagpole and any other object.

Nearby objects, including tree trunks behind the flagpole will cause the rangefinder not to lock. I cannot say I am thrilled with the pin-seeker feature.

The CR2 battery included lasted two years under fairly frequent use (say, over 100 games). However, I only wish I understood exactly how pin-seeker works so I know where to aim the reticle. As with most people, having a 250 yard limit to the pin-seeking is a moot point, as there is no club selection option for me beyond that :) I only wish there was a little bit more documentation, not because it is complicated to use (it is about as intuitive as anything can be), and the little flyer gives you all the info you need. Very nice product for a very reasonable price.
